11. 67cm, 7-10 course lute in F after VVendelio Venere 1582 (Vienna C36) 13 ribs; the original has heartwood yew ribs with light coloured maple or sycamore strips between. The neck and pegbox can be veneered in ebony or striped with different woods, for instance this example is in bird's eye maple with a neck and pegbox has been veneered in stripes of ebony and snakewood with snakewood sides to the pegbox.

Below that is a similar lute but more like the original in heartwood yew with hornbeam lines between the ribs and with the same ebony and snakewood veneered neck and pegbox.
